Do you remember when you were old enough to have a sleepover? Attending a sleepover is a rite of passage for a lot of kids. It signifies a child becoming more independent and celebrates friendships! A lot of children who join scout groups or other clubs may be invited to a sleepover or camping excursion so the group can bond.
If you are planning a sleepover for your scout group or club, here are a few helpful tips to consider:
Discuss what to expect: Talk with your child in advance to calm any fears or anxieties they may have. For a lot of children who have never attended a sleepover before, they may have questions about how sleepovers work. Help put their mind at ease ahead of time so they can focus on having fun!
Hosting: Traditionally, sleepovers are held at someone’s home. But we are helping you shake up this long standing tradition. Now, you can host your sleepover at Helium Trampoline & Climbing Park! Here is how it works:
- Your group will check-in around park closing time and enjoy a pizza party and jumping!
- Next up is a movie on our big screen TV and then indoor s’mores
- The fun isn’t over yet, because your group will then camp out in sleeping bags atop our incredible trampolines
- The group will wake up to a yummy breakfast the next morning before heading home!
